Typeface notes:

Brush Script was designed in 1942 by Robert E. Smith for American Type Founders. It has a spontaneous, brush-written look, and the lowercase letters are connected as in handwriting. Brush Script is ideal for casual display work where an informal, handwritten style might be advantageous, such as posters and signage.

Hobo was designed in 1910 by Morris Fuller Benton for American Type Founders. This unusual Art Nouveau-inspired design contains no straight lines and no descenders. It imparts a friendliness to display work such as invitations, menus, signage, and packaging.

Two typefaces called Stencil were released in 1937 within a month of each other; this one was designed by Gerry Powell for American Type Founders. The characters are designed to emulate the look of bold, cut-out stencil letters. Use this typeface to command attention on signage, and for special effects.
