After graduating from The Royal College of Art in 1992, Jeremy Tankard worked for the British firms Addison Design and Wolff-Olins, as a graphic designer and typographer. He has lectured in graphic design and typography at Colchester Institute and Middlesex University. In 1998 he established Jeremy Tankard | Typography in London to pursue his own design ambitions. His fluid Adobe® Original typeface, Blue Island™, won the Type Directors Club Type Design Competition 2000 Award. Jeremy's other typefaces include FF Disturbance™, Bliss™, Enigma™, Shaker™, and The Shire Types™.
