Minion Cyrillic was designed in 1992 by Robert Slimbach and was conceived as a non-Latin counterpart to Slimbachs Minion typeface family. The Minion typefaces are contemporary designs inspired by old style typefaces from the Renaissance. Much of their character is derived from Slimbachs calligraphy and handlettering, adapted to the constraints of type. Minion Cyrillic was conceived primarily as a text face and is highly legible. It can be used with ease in all book work and anywhere lengthy text needs setting, as well as for display work and advertising copy.
Minion Cyrillic is either a registered trademark or a trademark of Adobe Systems Incorporated in the United States and/or other countries.
